How thin the coating really is — drawn to true scale, not schematically. Application data is in the technical data sheet, the savings calculator is with the working principle.

Four levels, four insulation goals
Which level fits depends on what the building needs to achieve. The first three include the material for the complete build-up; the fourth also includes application by a specialist contractor.
m²Orderable from 1 m². Below 50 m², shipping from the Ketsch warehouse applies per part or full 18 m² container plus a decanting fee; from 50 m² shipping is free ex works.
Available to order from 1 m² je Stufe.
gesamte Aufbau.
1 millimetre versus 15 to 20 centimetres of polystyrene
The practical advantage is geometric: window reveals, roller shutter boxes, radiator recesses and listed façades keep their original dimensions. The comparison is drawn to true scale, not schematically.
1 mm against 15 to 20 cm
Both bars are drawn to the same scale. The column on the right corresponds to 150 to 200 mm, i.e. 15 to 20 cm. The coating is therefore a line rather than a bar — this is not a design effect but the actual measurement.

What this comparison shows — and what it does not. What is being compared is component thickness. The comparison relates to the effect observed in a field measurement, not to an equivalent thermal conductivity. A 1 mm coating does not, in calculation terms, replace 150 to 200 mm of EPS.
To check the calculation: 150 mm of EPS with λ = 0,031 W/(m·K) gives R = 4,8 m²·K/W, 200 mm gives R = 6,5 m²·K/W. A 1 mm layer remains below R = 0,02 m²·K/W even assuming a favourable λ ≥ 0,03 W/(m·K). Anyone who needs insulation performance calculated by standard methods needs insulation material thickness. Source: EPS WLG 031 data sheet. Calculated from the thickness values.
The statement made by this graphic is therefore limited to: the same observed effect at a fraction of the application thickness, under the boundary conditions of the field measurement. Field measurement at the property.

System layers
What the system consists of
A facade gets three layers, an interior wall its own. The containers are not sold individually — what you order are the complete packages. This overview shows what's in each package and what each layer is for.
Primer
PSC 250T ECB Basic B
The first layer. A highly adhesive, penetrating primer that the main layer needs in order to bond at all. It is used as the base coat for BUILD, ECI Interior and Eco Outside.
Stellung im Aufbau
Layer 1 of 3
Gebinde
5 litres
Main layer — the actual insulation
PSC 250T Build
The layer that insulates. Energy-saving, fills micro-cracks, vapour-permeable, mould-preventing and flexible. It forms the core of the build-up; without it, primer and finish are just paint.
Stellung im Aufbau
Layer 2 of 3
Lambdawert
0,00012
Auftrag
1 mm replaces approx. 15–20 cm of polystyrene
Facade top coat — finish
PSC 250T Eco Outside
The outward-facing finish. Thermo-reflective, UV-resistant, abrasion-resistant and vapour-permeable. It replaces the facade paint of a conventional build-up and protects the insulation layer beneath it.
Stellung im Aufbau
Layer 3 of 3
Verbrauch
max. 0,25 l/m²
Eignung
Period-building facades, vapour-open
Interior insulation
PScoat ECI Interior
For application on interior walls when the exterior cannot be treated. Vapour-open, reflective, dirt- and mould-resistant. A water-based acrylic resin coating filled with microspheres.
Anwendung
Interior walls, own build-up
Lambdawert
0,00046
Sd-Wert
0,11 at 1 mm
Auftrag
0.3 mm replaces a minimum of 5 cm of polystyrene
Verbrauch
approx. 0,3 l/m²
